Location was great. Ate down the beach further.
No hot water in my shower No safe to put valuables in. I was later offered one but it wasn’t fastened to the floor or wall so was basically useless. The timber stairs up to my first room were unsafe. It was rated as 3 star and certainly was 3 star. Construction work being carried out next door all day.

Location is perfect with easy access to beaches and a nice coastal boardwalk that you can take all the way to Tamarind Bay. Heaps of restaurants and tour bookings available next door. Great views and amazing service from Ketut who helped us with booking tours and organising lifts around the island (we did not hire a scooter as roads are not well maintained on the island). Perfect for a 3-4 day stay. Air conditioning was excellent (and necessary) and room was very comfortable.
Live music and restaurant scene dried up by 10pm, but was loud at times. Breakfast was good and only simple, but there are plenty more extravagant options along the Jungutbatu beach strip. Wifi was patchy but that is to be expected.
