“Very peaceful in a lovely setting”
Very nice place with rice fields around and stunning sunsets. We were the only guests in October during our two days. The small cabins have a nice terrace and a fairly large bathroom with hot water. It's not luxurious, but it's very peaceful and there's a breakfast included with an omelette and fruits. The host is also very friendly and although he doesn't speak phenomenal English, he is available to help us and we can ask him for anything we need. The vegetation of the place is very well maintained. There are also hammocks to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
It's not very close to the city and it's a bit complicated to get around if you don't want to rent a scooter and drive yourself. If you rent a scooter, there's no problem. Besides, the host can rent you one but if like us you're not comfortable with driving, it's difficult to find transportation in the area or you have to hire a private driver for the day which quickly becomes expensive. There are still one or two small warungs within walking distance from the hotel to have dinner. There's no drinkable water available, unlike other accommodations we've stayed at. However, the host gave us a large bottle of water.
