The second villa was very nice, quiet & well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Good supply of glasses and kitchen equipment. Water dispenser. The living area had good quality furniture and the villa was modern.
The first villa with a view of powerlines and noise from the road was most unsatisfactory. The second villa had a very noisy unit right next to the pool lounges.

As the last 3 nights of a 2-week Bali trip, I chose Seminyak close to the airport. Since it was a last-minute trip, I didn't pre-book accommodation and made reservations in the desired area based on my mood. I booked this villa on Booking.com the day before check-in. I registered my card information and waited for the payment to go through, but I kept receiving card authorization denial messages. Until the day of check-in, the payment was not approved, and I kept receiving denial messages, so I naturally thought it was a problem with Booking.com. Because I had never had such an issue during my travels. I tried to check with Booking.com, but it was past the customer service hours for Korean speakers, so I couldn't make the call that day, but the accommodation asked me to make the payment. While I understood the accommodation's perspective, I had already entered my card information on Booking.com, so I was worried about double payment and requested time until the next morning to check with Booking.com. The receptionist said okay, but I felt they treated me as if I were a person who would run away without paying. I was so upset that I wanted to resolve it as soon as possible, so I connected to Booking.com customer service early the next morning to explain the situation and ask what the problem was. However, it turned out that this accommodation does not process payments through Booking.com but has its own payment system. So they assured me that there would be no double payment, and I could pay at the reception with cash or bank transfer only!! Finally, I understood the situation properly. This accommodation kept rejecting my card registered on Booking.com to receive cash payments. If they only accept cash, shouldn't they inform Booking.com about it?? Even though the card I had registered was a debit card, I think this is a matter of attitude. Rejecting a perfectly fine card and only accepting cash or transfer, is that the attitude of someone in the accommodation business? In the end, I had to withdraw cash from an ATM nearby with a fee and make the payment!! And the unpleasant look and attitude of the receptionist, which was not my fault but the situation of the accommodation, will never be forgotten. Also, the condition of the accommodation is completely different from the photos. Since dirt is not visible in the photos, cleaning is a mess, the bedroom door does not close properly, so many mosquitoes come in, and there is grass at the entrance of the bedroom, making the bedding very damp. The bathtub plug broke as soon as I pressed it, so the water didn't drain, and my husband had to fix it. The location of the accommodation is really bad, and all around is under construction, the road is dusty, and there are no street lights at night, so it's dangerous. I definitely do not want to recommend this accommodation.
