Over all the stay was wonderful. The pool table was in rough shape and not worth playing on. Minor inconvenience. Long walk to anything that was fun. Beach under construction, but not the resort's fault.
Pool table seemed like it was used and abused. Needs new bumpers felt and leveled. Rest of the resort was wonderful.

The facility is well-maintained and lovingly designed. Breakfast is freshly prepared and the selection is very good.
During our 3-week stay in Bali, we booked 5 different accommodations, all within the same price range. Among them, this one was by far the worst. The towels were dirty, the bathroom was below average for the price, there were no curtains without stains, there were no glasses in the room. The facility is lovingly designed but partly showing its age. We booked the accommodation about 6 months ago because of the direct beach access. Unfortunately, the entire bay is currently under construction - the hotel operators are not at fault, it is a government project and it affects every hotel in this bay. Therefore, there is no beach access anymore, and from 9 am to 5 pm, there are excavators and trucks operating, leading to significant noise and dirt. We paid DOUBLE the price at the time of booking. The entire facility and the surrounding restaurants were deserted, creating an almost eerie atmosphere. The construction works are expected to continue until September 2027. I understand that this is a disaster for the people there, but for this very reason, we would have appreciated a bit more flexibility from them. When we asked if they could offer us a shuttle to another beach, they initially said no, as they couldn't do anything about the construction site. Only after repeated inquiries did they accommodate us.

The hotel itself was beautiful, it had some great looking areas, such as the Buddha area, the Koi pond, and the pools were fairly nice. The rooms were suitable and spacious and had a decent mosquito net. There is a lovely restaurant called Warung B Tok just up the road, 2 minute walk, and is fantastic. And a few other great establishments further on.
Room: No TV, the minibar was empty, and also leaking. The toilet needed about 20 minutes to flush after flushing once. Furniture was dated and dusty. Hotel: Quite expensive based on the area, didn't utilize its space very well with deck chairs/loungers, there are few and are all in the shade. Above the restaurant is dead space and isn't used to its potential (just 1 table and some chairs). We booked the hotel on the basis that they had private access to the beach for snorkeling, and this was blocked off and closed, we were informed just 2 days before arrival. Furniture is very outdated around the hotel. Facilities are a bit worn, such as the pool table is damaged, worn, and lop-sided. They list the use of a sauna, which would have been nice given the beach was closed off. But they charged 400,000 IDR for 1 hour. Breakfast: Breakfast was okay, a bit average and quite basic, the fruit platter didn't seem all too fresh. Other options were limited unless you pay extra. Staff: Didn't see much of the staff other than the receptionist lady who was lovely and polite. And the gardeners. The manager/supervisor was a nice guy, he organized a taxi for us to the port and provided a breakfast for the morning (4x hard-boiled eggs and 2x croissants).

Everything was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and thoughtfully decorated.
The small pool was a little murky, however, the large seaside pool was perfect.
