Rooms and pool repeatedly described as very clean, though isolated reports of bugs in a room and an aircon leak/transfer indicate occasional issues.
Staff frequently described as friendly and helpful (date changes, welcoming), but some reports of unhelpfulness (train booking), perceived biased service at breakfast and uneven consistency.
Multiple reviewers praised the central, walkable location and proximity to beach, shops and restaurants; one note about surrounding streets being unpleasant to walk.
Rooms described as spacious, comfortable and well equipped; a few maintenance concerns (furniture wear, utensils, AC leak) and an isolated bug report.
Highly praised pool area, usable gym and onsite spa/massages; helpful extras like water server. Spa hours and some missing salon options noted as minor downsides.
Many guests called the hotel reasonably priced and good value; at least one guest felt the price did not match their negative experience (bugs/food).
Breakfast offered options and was generally acceptable, but several comments about bland breakfast, mixed quality and one strong negative experience with specific dishes.
Majority of stays described as wonderful, amazing or would return — consistent praise for pool, location and staff, with a minority of service/food/maintenance negatives.

The location is perfect. Easy to catch a Grab. Very rich breakfast. It has air conditioning and a hairdryer. The bed is very comfortable
The bathtub and shower need to be renovated, and the pillows are huge and you can't use them because they hurt your neck.

Incredible villas and great value for money, private and quiet. The food at the hotel was better than any food we ate out, and pricing was better than eating out. All staff were lovely, and the room was very clean

The property is well maintained, clean, and tidy. The villa was comfortable and clean. The chilled filtered water in the room was greatly appreciated. The food was great, and the service was impeccable. All of the staff were super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate.
