The garden, large and quiet. An immense space around the cottages. A concept that no longer exists in Bali because land is expensive and hotels sprout up like mushrooms overnight on cramped grounds. Villa Mathis is a return to the old Bali. Nature, antique wooden objects, thatched roofs.
There is construction work in front of the property and although there is no noise, the road is not very easily accessible if you are on a scooter. That being said, it will be finished soon. The rooms are a bit dark but again it's the old design in building houses. The light is in the garden.

“Great stay”
Very nice space, pool, garden, and very welcoming staff. Ideal for a group of 10 people (5 couples) because each room has its privacy and toilet spaces. The rooms are equipped with a minibar and all the necessary toiletries (towels, water bottles for brushing teeth, toilet paper, pillow, etc.). The sheets are changed daily and cleaning is also done.
2 of our rooms had a slightly weak air conditioning and did not cool enough (it was a bit hot in the evening). 1 room ended up without hot water and during the weekend and no plumber available until Monday.
