I liked the room, the good service and attention, and the pool. The floating breakfast is delicious.
I felt a bit far from everything.

The outdoor area with the large pool was beautiful, looked clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was good. The young man at the reception was helpful. We were picked up from the port and large scooters were organized for us to explore the island. Boat tickets were booked for us. The surroundings, Brocken Beach, Klingking Beach.
The good reviews are a mystery to us!!! We didn't feel particularly welcome there from the beginning. When we arrived, there was whispering behind the reception (we had three huge backpacks with us, as we were traveling with our children for 4 weeks, maybe that was the reason), one said to the other 'Germans' and then they laughed. The staff was otherwise nice, some were very indifferent like the young woman at breakfast. It is only superficially cleaned and not even done properly. Our milk from breakfast the day before was still on the table the next morning, the tables were not wiped, you could draw in the dust on the table with your finger. The toilet in the breakfast area, which we unfortunately needed upon arrival, was hygienically in a catastrophic condition. !!!ATTENTION!!!! The above is the lesser evil. We had the family room, down the stairs on the left side. Our room was not clean, everything was totally dirty and dusty. Only superficially wiped. In the room, there are rats, huge spiders, large lizards that visited us at night and had a big party in our room. It went on all night, wild running, gnawing on the walls, scratching of these animals. Things in the bathroom that were knocked over. In the morning, everywhere feces from the animals in the bathroom on the toilet in the room. Rat traps are attached under the roof on the veranda, see photo. When we came back from eating outside, there was a huge pile of feces right in front of our bed. Also, these terribly smelling tabs are in the bathroom and in the room, which are supposed to keep cockroaches and pests away, you can hardly breathe. The neighbors' roosters crowed continuously from 1:30 a.m. Garbage was burned very close by, the smoke filled the room. We then decided to leave earlier after the second night, as sleep was out of the question.
