The place is quite remote in a smaller village - secluded spot was exactly what I was looking for. Views of nature are beautiful, villa had everything I needed, staff was very professional and friendly, and the food was just spot on every time (I do recommend to try - was it breakfast, lunch or dinner - so delicious!) I had a wonderful time here.

“Relaxing holiday amidst the rice fields”
Our couple's holiday at Kayangan Villas was all around beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful, after the first night they already recognized us and knew our preferences (breakfast at a later time and on the terrace, fresh water bottles every day, ...). As a welcome gesture, we were also given a Floating Breakfast during our stay. Our villa had a beautiful view of the pool and the rice fields, offering us the tranquility we were looking for away from the crowded city of Ubud. Within walking distance from the hotel, we could find a charming massage salon, several restaurants, a supermarket, the Manuaba waterfall, and many other rice field views. The hotel is also conveniently located for Mount Batur tours pick-ups. Whether with the hotel's own driver or through Grab, Ubud is also easily accessible. The rooms are spacious and have fully covered terraces, allowing you to sit outside and enjoy the coolness even in light rain. The TV provides access to Netflix provided by the hotel. Additionally, a very sweet and friendly cat lives on the hotel grounds :) The breakfast offers various sweet and savory options, which can be supplemented with additional orders.
Unfortunately, the bathroom lacks additional storage space for clothes, cosmetics, etc., apart from a wooden ladder and the limited space around the sink. A bench or similar would have been practical here.
