Villa Sari is very close to the beach. It's a 5-minute walk away. You can enjoy the sunset and sunrise every day. Pulukan beach is very beautiful. It's the perfect place for surfing. The accommodation was very clean. The staff always keep it clean. And they are so friendly and fun ^^ It feels like family. You can ask Budey for information about Medewi. He's very good at teaching surfing. (He's even good at surfing!) It seems to be the perfect accommodation for solo travelers. There are local restaurants nearby, and the local people are very friendly and fun. Oh, be sure to try mangosteen when you come here! There's a fruit stand right next to Villa Sari, it's really great ^^

This spot is a gem. Far better than anything else in the area. Budey, the host, surf guide & all around awesome person gives the place a great, relaxed vibe & was a pleasure to meet. Wish we had more days to spend here.

“TOP staff. Great value for money.”
It is surprising this place has no more reviews. I was there for surfing like most people who are coming to Medewi. Situation is perfect, walking distance (through beautiful rice fields) from the Rightender, and 1km by scooter to the Point where you will find a veeeeryyy long Left wave. The staff was perfect too. Always helping to find a solution for everything like scooter rent, board rent, transport, etc etc. Breakfast was nice with many options... even though I took the same every day! It is really quiet because it's far enough from the main road. Rooms are basic but very clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is nice and quiet, and you often feel like it is private as there are only a few rooms in the hotel. I spent 12 days, and for me the key point is the staff. People in Bali are mostly really nice, but the small staff here is really TOP. And you can get all this for a really low price... Looking forward to being back!!!
