“The stay was successful, but it all came down to the atmosphere and people of Gili Trawangan.”
The location in the center of the island, on the one hand, everywhere is a similar road to every part of the island, but on the other hand, you need to ride a bike/scooter to get to the beach. The apartment with a view of a pretty nice pool, without crowds, quiet.
The bed linen was not changed after the previous guests, dirty with blood. The floor was superficially cleaned, dirty after moving furniture. Not cleaned daily by the will of the staff, one had to demand cleaning, towel replacement, TV remote repair, and a burnt light bulb on the terrace was never replaced because the staff couldn't reach it and had no ladder. The hotel did not offer breakfast, and there was not even a kettle or single-use coffee, sugar, cream, or a fridge in the room. One could use the staff's fridge and kettle and had to have their own coffee, sugar, or cream. They rented bikes and scooters, but scooters were significantly more expensive than in the city. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly, but the owner was very frugal. The worst part was that the staff did not respond to messages sent by me through booking regarding attempts of fraud - data and money phishing. Only an automatic message was sent, stating not to send them any transfers and to only contact through booking. This cost me a lot of unnecessary stress.
