“Lovely stay - great location and OUTSTANDING staff”
My husband and I loved our stay here so much we extended an extra day! Rooms were clean and the location was quiet and peaceful. Our deck area was perfect to enjoy tea and read. The pool was a nice temperature and was kept clean during our stay despite a couple windy storms. The guys working were what really made our stay though! They gave us a map and wonderful recommendations and always made sure we were taken care of! Breakfast was cooked to order every morning and we loved chatting with them. Only a short walk from the beach and we were far enough away from the mosques that we were not woken up by the call to prayer.

“Overrated. Nothing special about it”
We chose this hotel for our last night in Gili Air because of the good reviews it had, what a disappointment!!! The room was small, the furniture old, the walls dirty, there was no gel/shampoo (which I bring but for the 40€ that Booking charges, the least they could do...) They also didn't provide the water bottles they advertise, the air conditioning was not enough for the heat in the room, because it gets sun all day so being in the room at noon is hellish. We went into the pool when we arrived around 11:30 because we couldn't check-in and it smelled of bleach that was off-putting. Besides the neglected facilities, the pool tiles were full of dirt that could easily be cleaned by wiping them. The broken and deteriorated hammocks. The path inside and outside the hotel is all dirt, no garden (although many plants) but when you go to the room, you get everything dirty. The breakfast coffee was terrible. I have stayed in Gili Air for 13€ in bungalows with better conditions and more services than this one that cost us almost 3 times more. I really don't understand such a good review.

To start, the access to the hotel is an inaccessible sandy path to get there with suitcases. They gave us a room without a general cleaning during a change of guests, there is no hairdryer or hand towels or toiletries. The doors are misaligned, so many insects enter the room. We expected much more due to the high rating it has. Disappointing.
