A place of great charm in Java, highly recommended! The structure is a bit far from the center (rent a scooter or use grab/taxi) but in return, you will have a beautiful structure, with small Indonesian-style cottages, beautifully restored and decorated, with fountains and plants, immersed in a beautiful garden and also a small private garden. The bathroom is magnificent, open-air but with a shower and bathtub from which you can look at the stars... in short, a splendid experience. Excellent and well-prepared breakfast and dinner. Dave and his wife, the owners, are truly special people and it was very pleasant to talk to them and understand many things about the country and their customs. A place to return to!

Traditional Javanese wooden house, an extraordinary experience. The staff is very nice. Rich breakfast.
First of all, there are too many ants and bugs, you have to be okay with this. One day there were ants on my bed, I called the staff for help, they brought insecticide and told me to get used to it. The hotel is located in the countryside of Yogyakarta, the surrounding villages are not very interesting, but it's only half an hour by taxi to the city. The outdoor part of the room is not very clean, I took a look at the bathtub and it was very dirty, full of ants.
